Born
in 1957 in the Elsie Ingles maternity hospital in Edinburgh, I grew
up in Edinburgh’s Seaside town of Portobello.
On
leaving school I attended Napier Collage studying Computer Studies
and graduated in 1978 and began working for a well known financial
comnpany in the centre of Edinburgh.
I
was introduced to photography by a good friend in the 80’s and spent
many a happy hour in the dark room pottering about with chemicals
and producing the odd good photo.
Life
got busy and my photography took a back burner until recently when
I found myself in the enviable position of have time on my hands,
redundancy can be a good thing. I decided to pick up my hobby again
and use the latest tool - the digital camera.
Together
with my expertise in computer software and my love of photography
I began experimenting with the digital world and some of the results
are on this web site. I hope you enjoy them.
